ALBANY, N.Y. (July 15, 2024) – Supporters of Dorcey Applyrs, Democrat for Mayor of Albany, have raised $150,000 to date, culminating with nearly $100,000 in cash-on-hand funds as of this week as reported in the July 2024 New York State Board of Elections disclosure filing. Of the declared candidates running for Albany mayor, Applyrs is the leading candidate based upon cash-on-hand and broad support from contributors.
The Applyrs campaign has raised $60,000 since January 2024, from more than 350 contributions, with a majority of contributions coming from within the City of Albany. 270 supporters gave under $250 and nearly 100 gave under $100.
“Since announcing last November, I’ve spoken to so many of our city’s residents and businesses about how we move Albany forward and activate its full potential. I am grateful for the support this campaign has received so far from all corners. With the primary election now less than a year away, we’re only getting started,” said Applyrs.
The campaign currently has nearly $100,000 cash-on-hand.
